Vijith is a co-founder of Affno. He is also the Founder and Chairman of South Asia’s No. 1 company in Annual Report production, Smart Media (Inc.1994) and Q&E Advertising (Inc.1991), the largest Independent Advertising Company in the emerging market of Sri Lanka. He has over 15 years experience in setting up and building companies from scratch, often breaking new ground.
He is a keen researcher in knowledge management and intellectual capital and works closely with world authorities in the field. The International Board of Trustees of The Chartered Institute of Marketing in UK conferred an Honorary Fellowship on Vijith in November 2006, in recognition of his entrepreneurship and contribution towards Marketing.
A Medical Doctor turned Entrepreneur, he is also Chairman of the Children’s Heart Project of Sri Lanka. An organisation supporting the improvement of diagnosis, treatment and care of children’s heart disease. |
